President Obama was at a press conference in Germany, where he encouraged anti-Trump protesters back home not to remain “silent” about matter concerning democracy, Fox News reported.
Mr. Obama was alongside German Chancellor Angela Merkel when he expressed his view on the end results of the presidential election campaign.
“I suspect that there’s not a president in our history that hasn’t been subect to these protests…..So, I would not advise people who feel strongly or who are concerned about some of the issues that have been raised during the course of the campaign, I wouldn’t advise them to be silent, ” President Obama stated. “Voting matters, organizing matters and being informed on the issues matters,” he adds.
Since Trump was elected president of the United States a number of demonstrators have swarmed the streets in large city to protest against Donald Trump. The protest have been mostly peaceful except for a few incident where anti-Trump protesters have been violently attacked by Trump supporters.
President Obama has openly addressed Mr. Trump to speak out on the unrest caused by Trump’s anti-democracy stand.
