New evidence to the Hillary Clinton email fiasco has supposedly been found and the FBI is reopening the investigation.
The Director of the FBI James Comey in a letter sent to the Congressional Committee Chairman explaining the urgency of the “recent developments” in the Clinton personal email server.
In the letter Comey stated that “In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of existence of emails…..pertinent to the investigation…..the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the should take investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.”
Is unclear how long the investigation into the new developments will take due to the fact the “FBI cannot yet assess whether or not this material may be significant,” said Comey.
CNN reported that the recent email discovery were not related to either the WikiLeaks or the Clinton Foundation. In fact the FBI do not give details of the content in the emails in question.
The news came as a surprise to the Clinton campaign whose aide told reporters they were just learning about it along with everybody else.
Donald Trump wasted no time to bash Hillary at a rally in New, Hampshire.
“Clinton’s corruption is on a scale we’ve never seen before……we must not let her take her criminal scheme into the Oval Office,” said Donald Trump.
Paul Ryan had quite a lot to say about the latest Clinton personal email investigation.
“This decision, long overdue, is the results of her reckless use of a private email server, and her refusal to be forthcoming with federal investigator…..I renew my call for the Director of National Intelligence to suspend all classified briefing for Secretary Clinton,” said House Speaker Paul Ryan.
A few months ago Comey turned down suggestions to charge Hillary for careless use of her personal email serve. The Director of the FBI testified and defended the integrity of the agency at Capital Hill.
